The original four novels seen here, are the first of what will become a seven part series. Begin with Maxis to learn about the planetary system, its technology, its people, and their way of life. Then move on to the Spires as your favorite characters delve deep into the untamed wilderness and expansive frontiers of that world. Move on to Invasion, where you'll read about those characters and their friends and allies as they fight against almost insurmountable odds. Then come full circle to World at War, where our heroes fight against their most ruthless enemy yet, the planet Earth!
MAXIS
Twenty-One years after winning the second war for their independence, the former Earth colony planet of Maxis struggles with keeping order amid its populace. Citizens are no longer satisfied with life in the massive base cities and begin leaving those confines to explore the great untapped frontier. The Maxis government, torn between the desires of its citizens and what is best for the young civilization as a whole, outlaw the unauthorized exodus and establish a new office to enforce the policy. In an effort to gain public and political support for the measure, President Michael State appoints the planet's greatest war hero, Jeffrey Blades to lead the new group. Unfortunately, Blades soon finds out that his presidentially appointed co-leader is at the center of a horrific cover up and he must choose between following his orders and following his conscience.
The Spires
In this sequel to the Sci-Fi Epic "MAXIS", General Jeffrey Blades is called back from R&R to lead a special task force for the Executive Council. Their mission: to locate and study the ancient and enigmatic spires, like the one he discovered on Aris Island. Unbeknownst to the General, Fang Quan the new CEO of SICO Industrial has made the acquisition of the spires and their secrets a priority for the planetary conglomerate and will stop at nothing to own their exclusive rights. The race between the Maxis government and the planet's largest company erupts into chaos and in their greed fueled haste, they will unlock the true purpose behind the spires and, with it, seal the fate of the planet.
Maxis: Invasion
The citizens of Maxis have unleashed a terrible force upon their world. The alien race known as the Vog has arrived in force determined to punish what they view as the heresy of the Maxis people for desecrating the holy temple. That temple is Maxis itself and the Vog are commanded by their God to eradicate the human infestation. General Blades, hero of Maxis and savior of the human army during their first tragic encounter, will have to formulate and carry out a plan that will push he and the entire population to its limits or be annihilated.
Maxis: World at War
The Vog invasion is over, but with the death and destruction still fresh in their minds, the citizens of Maxis are thrust into a new conflict. Decades after the bitter and embarrassing loss at the hands of their own colony, the united armed forces of the planet Earth have returned. they bring with them an overwhelming force of starships, soldiers, tanks, and starfighters, all with the singular purpose of subjugating their former allies and taking back what was rightfully theirs!
While the other military and civilian leadership quarrel and scheme in the face of almost certain defeat, the fate of the planet rests on the shoulders of one man: General Jeffrey Blades, whose courage helped thwart the alien invasion, must now use his guile to lead the outmatched Maxis Defense Force to an impossible victory against their old nemesis.
